Hello, Christy -
I don't know if you remember me, but we studied at DTS at around the same time and I remember you. I still keep up with another classmates of ours, John O'Leary (the comedy factor alone makes it worthwhile to stay in touch with that clown, right?). Well, I had no idea about all the trials you have endured until I saw the entry about your family - and your loss - in the Dallas Connection publication, which led me to your website. I could not access the e-mail link and wanted to leave a message here - I hope you receive it. Mainly, I want to offer a sentiment of comfort and hope...but what can I say that hasn't already been said...perhaps there are no words, ultimately, that can take away your pain. I know that the only words that matter to you - and rightly so - are the words of the Lord - His Scriptures. Therefore, let me be only the latest in a long line of those who have assembled around you to grieve with you and to affirm your public and personal act of ministry by clinging to Him in your time of sorrow. More people than you could possibly know have certainly been encouraged and touched by your faith and perseverance. Thank you for your lives and love for Christ. I never met your husband, Patrick, but it is obvious what kind of man he is - one who leads his family in trusting Him who is worthy and able to care for us all. Whether you remember me or not is unimportant - just know that you all are loved.

Sincerely and respectfully -
Rich Cass (Class of 2001)

Christy,
I cannot believe I just found your blog a few clicks away from one of my friends blogs. I've just been catching up on your lives. I had read a little of Isabella just through PCPC's this week, but I didn't know all the details. I am so sorry for your loss. I know this website and your lives will be a testament to many.

I had no idea until this week of your family's tragedy. We tragically lost our neice a few years ago. One can never understand in this lifetime why our little ones arent' able to be with us here on earth. We must trust God and in his wisdom. Yet, there is always a missing peice of us. Thank you for sharing and I will be praying that God continues to minister to you and bring healing and hope to your family.
