Know that we are all praying for God's mercy and provision for you all and especially for Bella.... all the days ordained for Bella were written in your book before one of them came to be...

Trust in His mercy and goodness.

I am yet again humbled at the tender mercies of our Lord. He is good and His love endures forever. Your video made me cry....and came at a much needed time....on a day when I needed to put things in perspective. Thank you for sharing such personal and sacred happenings in your family with us.

Bella and each of you continues to be on our hearts...in fact, while out of town over the weekend, when she was born, I recall a strong prompting to pray for her throughout the day....imagine that...God is faithful to call us to pray even when we don't know exactly what is happening. We praise Him that she is here, and we will continue to pray for your family. We love you guys!

Hi Patrick and Christy,

"Pause" and "anxiety" are normal parent responses. We are never told not to worry, but to not worry about our lives---what we eat, drink and wear. Sure, it can be argued otherwise, but to worry about your daughter is normal. We worry with you and are complaining---but not grumbling---before our Lord for all of your sakes.

“Salvation belongs to the Lord! God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam. Blessed is he whose help is in the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation . . the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants. For the Lord will not forsake his people; he will not abandon his heritage…know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations, and sing to your name. I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has dealt bountifully with me. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” -
Psalm 3:8, 46:1-3, 146:5, 103:13, 149:4, 135:14, 94:14, 4:3, 55:22, 18:49, 22:22, 73:25, 71:3, 54:4, 18:3, 13:5-6, 68:19, 34:3, 103:2-5

“Thro’ many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; ‘tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me, his word my heart secures; he will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures.” – John Newton, 1779

The Lord has brought baby Bella safely through thus far. May He continue to bring her through these times of trial and testing. Rest in His unfailing grace as we see Him work in her life over the coming days.

Patrick and Christy,
We are delighted to here of the safe arrival of little Bella. We have prayed for you often and rejoice with you in her birth. We are all too familiar with the uncertainties you must now be facing. We are also familiar with the infinite grace of our heavenly Father. We will continue to pray for all of you as you await test results, prognoses, and future plans. It is getting cold here in England as we prepare for Christmas. Although we are half way around the world our prayers are equally close to our Father. All we can do from this distance is pray, and pray we will.
